New Legacy Equipment Award

The International Aviation Snow Symposium shall be conducting the Legacy Equipment Award. This award shall be for the oldest and currently active piece of airfield snow removal equipment in service at an airport in attendance at the event excluding committee members.

Judging will be based on the age of the equipment presented, in the event of a tie, quality of the presentation shall be decided upon by the program committee.

PRESENTATIONS/SUBMITTALS:

PLEASE DISTINGUISH FROM IDEA CORNER BY PRINTING AT TOP OF POSTER BOARD "LEGACY EQUIPMENT AWARD" FOLLOWED BY NAME OF AIRPORT AND NAME OF PERSON SUBMITTING THE PRESENTATION

1. Presentations shall be affixed to a 22" by 28" rigid poster board.
2. A one page description/history of the machine shall be type written with the year, make, model, and any significant attachments or uses.
3. The subject equipment must be currently in service and ready for use.
4. Subject equipment shall be considered and or classified as an airfield snow removal unit.
5. Provide a color action photo from this year's snow season, and a minimum of two color static photos.
6. Provide verification of age or date in service, this could be a copy of the Certificate of Origin, Official Property Records, photo of dated identifying nomenclature off of the machine. Include miles and hours(if possible) accrued on the unit.

All entries must be delivered to the registration desk by 4pm on Sunday April 25,2010. All posters will be available for return after 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 28,2010.
